EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This item has been continued numerous times since May, 28, 3025, pending resolution of the City’s financial issues.
It was noted at the last meeting that the Plan of Services that was submitted with the annexation proposal is no longer applicable. It was prepared based on FY 2012-2013 service levels. We have requested that the City submit an updated plan of services once it has determined what sustainable service levels will be.
The City Council received its “Work Out Plan to Sustainability” on June 21st. The Plan outlines alternative steps to be taken before a determination of sustainable service levels can be made.
Staff is recommending a continuance to the Commission’s next meeting on September 22, 2016 to allow the City to answer the necessary questions that have been asked by Staff.
