Former Beaumont City Attorney Joe Aklufi wants City to ‘Defend Him’ in the City vs Aklufi/Wysocki Lawsuit

Pinkney claims that the Item is NOT on the Agenda, but must be addressed at this Closed Session because it was ‘an emergency’

5:00 pm Beaumont City Council Closed Session September 19, 2017

City Attorney John Pinkney Announced that former City Attorney Joe Aklufi has requested that the City Defend him against the Lawsuit: Beaumont vs Aklufi/Wysocki.

Pinkney claims that the Item is NOT on the Closed Session Agenda, but must be addressed at this Closed Session because it was ‘an emergency’.

Motion by Lara, Second by White to Deny Request from Aklufi.

Request Denied 4/0

Let’s Review:

Joe Aklufi slithers into the City of Beaumont in 1993.

From 1993 to 2015 Aklufi oversees Conflict of Interest, Forging of Government Documents, Police Brutality, and 2004 Adjudication of the Beaumont Basin.

$400 Million is funneled out of the City of Beaumont leaving Citizens massive Mello Roos Bond Debt, a drained Beaumont Basin, and no Fire Stations, Roadways, or a Recycled Water Facility.

Aklufi is never Fired or Reprimanded and is allowed to ‘retire’ when he lost his license in 2014.

The City of Beaumont wait TWO YEARS after the Raids to ensure that Aklufi has time to transfer all of his Assets to his Wife and Kids.

Once there is nothing to take; Pinkney files a Lawsuit against the Law Firm of Aklufi/Wysocki.

Now Aklufi wants the City to Defend him against the Lawsuit because, after all; every action by Aklufi was Directed and Approved by Council.
