The Judge’s ruling was very clear; the entire CFD operation in the City of Beaumont was illegally established and maintained. The elected and appointed officials of Beaumont are operating multiple illegal activities through the government. The Judge’s ruling made clear that they are not fooling anyone except those that live in their little bubble. The City’s illegal activity is obvious, unmistakable, and inexcusable.
The Citizens of Beaumont have got to understand that there is no ‘alternative world’ for your City. Your City has operated illegal activities for the last 20 years and used intimidation & coercion tactics to hold power.
STOP ASKING FOR AN AUDIT
Audits only track money. The continuance of criminal activity is far more important & damaging to the City. We all know where the money went; it went into the pockets of your Elected & Appointed Officials, the Love Family, the Bough Family, and a few others locals that were thrown pennies.
DUTY OF CITIZENS
A Citizens’ primary duty is to control their local governments. Government corruption is like an infestation of cockroaches; extermination is the only solution because they will not go away on their own, the infestation will only get worse.
The Citizens of Beaumont must demand the firing of the City Manger, Finance Director, City Attorney, Urban Logic, and their staff. If Council refuses to fire everyone involved in the corruption they must be recalled.
Beaumont Council Members are fools. They are legally responsible for authorizing over $300 Million in illegal bonds and authorizing illegal activities. Council is foolish enough to think they belong to some ‘club’, but Kapanicas is a only using them for his own gain. In the end he will implicate everyone else to save himself.
If the Citizens of Beaumont to do immediately recall Fox and Knight they are also fools. These people can not control the City’s finances for another two years. Brenda Knight fully disclosed her depth of the situation when she read the same ‘we’ve got $11 million in reserves’ speech that Kapanicas handed Berg last year.
The Judge was very clear that the entire CFD Program is illegal, yet there is another $125 Million in bond debt on Tuesday’s Agenda. At the last Council meeting the Bough and Love families showed up licking their chops in anticipation of more bond money.
Eventually the State and Federal Prosecution will indict, but a lot of damage will be done if the Citizens of Beaumont wait for the government to save them.
CFD PROPERTY OWNERS:
The bottom line for the Property Owners in the Beaumont CFD Developments is that because the entire operation was illegal the property owners are not liable for the debt.

Not only can the property owners get the tax burden lifted off their property, but they can sue all of the lawyers and consultants involved in issuing the bonds.
