Condon, Dominguez, Carroll, Martinez, Roy qualify for Beaumont City Council seats

Current city councilmember Della Condon, resident Victor Dominguez, city treasurer Nancy Carroll, city clerk Julio Martinez and resident Ron Roy have qualified as candidates for the Beaumont City Council election on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

The deadline to pull papers is Wednesday, Aug. 17.

There are two seats available on the Beaumont City Council – Condon, and Brenda Knight, who has decided not to seek a second-term.

Condon was selected in January 2016 following the December 2015 passing of councilmember Jeff Fox.

Dominguez ran for city council in 2010. He was arrested for murder on April 21, 2015 in the shooting of a man in an alley near a towing business in the 300 block of Grace St. No charges have been filed.
