City of Beaumont Running Out of Money

The four columns represent the last four City of Beaumont Check Warrants.  The Pink on the bottom of each column represents CalPERS payments.  The City is required to make $135,000 CalPERS payments with each payroll, but the City did not pay for the October 31st CalPERS.

The shrinking yellow payments is the mystery Mutual of Omaha.

The City generates about $3/4 million per month tax revenue and Payroll alone is $1/2 million every two weeks.   If the City does not get another Mello Roos Bond it will not be able to make payroll for the rest of the year, but the City can not legally use Mello Roos funds to pay daily expenses.
