Cherry Valley Warehouse Bait and Switch

1,128 Houses are Planned in the Cherry Valley Community of Interest if they can Change the Zoning.

Cherry Valley Community of Interest is zoned so that each residential lot must be one acre or more in size to keep Cherry Valley rural.

LAFCO has notified the Citizens that the Sunny Cal Development (old egg ranch) with 497 houses is once again attempting to Annex into the City of Beaumont.

The San Gorgonio Crossing Warehouse EIR shows that 1,128 Houses are planned to circle the Warehouse – if they can get the Zoning changed.

A warehouse would depreciate property values, yet not one of the housing developers are complaining about Shopoff’s warehouse.

The only reason the Developers of the Housing Developments aren’t screaming about Shoppoff’s Warehouse plans is because they know it’s a bait and switch.

The City of Calimesa also has no concern about the effects of a warehouse.

Beaumont Councilman Nancy Carroll has publicly voiced her support for the Sunny Cal Annexation and Development on the theory that “It’s better than a warehouse”.
