On June 10, 2014, was the day that the Western Riverside Council of Governments’ $45 Million Judgment was Issued.

On June 10, 2014, Mayor Brenda Knight made two ‘choices’.

Knight’s first choice was to Approve an Appeal of the Judgement, which has since cost the Citizens of Beaumont another $10 Million in Interest and Attorney Fees over the last 2 1/2 years.

Knight read a statement to the Public that was nothing more than a ridiculous denial of statements in the Judgement that would eventually lead to the Indictment of the Expendable Seven.

As the Council Meeting adjourned and the old schoolroom/council chambers emptied Brenda Knight walked out the east door and Judy Bingham walked out the west door 20 yards away. As the two women entered the hall Judy Bingham stated: “Brenda Knight, you should be ashamed of yourself.”

A very true statement.

But Brenda Knight doesn’t like ‘true statements’, so she, as Mayor of the City Beaumont, filed a False Police Report against Judy Bingham claiming the Felony ‘Threatening an Officer’ and ‘Fighting in a Public Place’ , a Misdemeanor.

This was the fourth (4th) false Police Report filed against Judy Bingham by the City of Beaumont’s corrupt Staff and Council in the last decade.

Brenda Knight Stated to the Police:

“When Bingham approached her, she was about 8’ away. As Bingham approached her, she had her finger extended out and was waving it towards Knight. She continued walking towards Knight saying: “You should be ashamed of yourself.”

“That scared the daylights out of me.”

Having a conscious or shame might ‘scare the daylights’ out of Brenda Knight, but it’s not a Treat nor is it Assault.

But Brenda Knight had a Witness: Walter McNeill, the City’s Lawyer that has made well over a Million Dollars ‘defending’ the City against the WRCOG.

“McNeill said he heard yelling from behind him. He indicated it was two women behind hi, which the yelling began to increase in volume. McNeill thought he heard Knight say “Get out of my face”. McNeill said the argument was loud, aggressive, and on the verge of blows by both parties.”

“McNeill said he did not see either party strike or touch the other while he was present. He did not hear any threats by either party.”

But wait; there’s another ‘Witness’ and he’s a cop; Officer Ellsworth witnessed the incident. Surely he’ll lie for Brenda Knight, right?

Ellsworth stated: “As I walked towards the two women, Mayor Knight’s back was towards e and I could hear her yelling and waving her finger. While I was present, I did not hear either party make a threat of violence to the other. I did not see either party strike or touch the other during the time I was present.”

The glory days of Beaumont, the days when Beaumont Staff and Council routinely used the Police Force to strong-arm the Citizens into submission.

In less than a month the City of Beaumont must present a realistic plan to repay the Western Riverside Council of Governments for the $42 Million in TUMF Mitigation Fees that were stolen. Including Interest, the Judgement is now over $65 Million.
