Employee/Officers of Beau Elect ordered inventory from their vendors in the name of the beau finance authority.
Vendor invoices submitted by beau elect were paid from City’s general fund bank account.

the Financing authority never recorded any of these transactions on the general ledger.
ALL OF THE TRANSACTIONS WERE RECORDED ON THE GNERAL LEGER
cash advanced to beau elect to make purchases was essentially from restricted cash since the general fund operated a negative cash balance.
Finance Staff made adjustments to outstanding balance:
$66,244.35 payment from Beaumont Electric
City owned Beaumont Electric $20,743.24 in outstanding Invoices
$24,61013 was coded to wrong account on balance sheet.
