Bail Reduction For Dave Dillon

Bail for former Beaumont Economic Development Director David W. Dillon was reduced Thursday from $5 million to $1 million.

Bail for former Beaumont Economic Development Director David W. Dillon was reduced Thursday from $5 million to $1 million by a Riverside County Superior Court judge.

Dillon was arrested in May along with six other former Beaumont city employees on felony charges in a corruption case.

Judge Mac Fisher reduced Dillon’s bail, but would not consider his request to dissolve a temporary restraining order freezing his assets.

Dillon will be back in court July 19 and the motion will be heard by Judge Becky Dugan, who also will consider a request that same day by Deepak Moorjani, the city’s former public works director, to stop a temporary restraining order freezing his assets.
