Beaumont City Council Meeting September 15, 2015 Agenda Item 4.f Exhibit C; Pages 152 thru 223

Invoice Dates run from January through June, 2014 and total $80,535.00.

The Invoices are for the old Vander Woude property located south of Brookside Ave. Apparently the City was working on developing the property into CFD Area 25 to build another housing development.

Last anyone had heard about this property was last spring when the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Parks and Recreations paraded before Council with the request that Council purchase the property for Parks and Recs because, if you’ll all recall, last year the City was flush with money.

At the Council Meeting Onyx Jones stated that these Services were usually paid through Union Bank from the bond proceeds, but since there will be no bond for this document Urban Logic wants the City to pay them directly.

Aside from the fact that there could not possibly that Urban Logic won a Bid Contract for this work since the entire project was never disclosed to Council; the bonds are clear that Urban Logic’s pay is contingent upon the sale of the bond. No bond sale, no pay. Too bad for them.

2:40:00 Onyx Jones: Exhibit C is one that is typically paid through the CFD. These are the Invoices that get sent to the Trustee, Union Bank, and Union Bank issues the Check and it is for formation services. There is documentation in the packet, but it’s basically saying; ‘I provided these Administrative Services for the formation of this CFD.

Urtiaga: And I have another one on my desk.

Jones: I don’t know what additional documentation he could provide. It’s just that we can’t confirm or deny that service was provided.
