Presentation on Growth Management Issues February 24

Tonight’s Anti-Growth Limiting Initiative Workshop will be Presented by the ‘Planning Department’, which is code for ‘Urban Logic’.

The City of Beaumont will host their second Workshop tonight, Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at 6:00pm. There will be no Closed Session.

Tonight’s Workshop is the City’s response to the Citizens of Beaumont’s Initiative to limit growth until the City has the ability to provide services.

The Workshop will be presented by ‘the Planning Department’, which consists of Rebecca Deming, former Urban Logic Employee and front for Ernie Eggers; and Kyle Warsinski, former Urban Logic Employee and front for Dave Dillon.

Perhaps the Planning Department will explain when they ‘plan’ to build the three Fire Stations required to provide adequate fire protection to the current residents.

Tonight’s presentation is titled: Growth Management Issues

Planning Department presentation regarding building permit data for the last decade and expected building permits this year.
Presentation regarding general plan overview and anticipation growth under the City’s general plan.
Presentation and the impact of existing Development Agreements and vested rights.
Presentation regarding examples of growth management ordinances adopted in other cities.
Growth management options.
Financial impacts of growth management.

Urban Logic and City Manager Alan Kapanicas have damaged our quality of life by failing to uphold high development standards, depleting local resources, making local government less accessible to residents, and by destroying the small town feel of the City of Beaumont.
Tactics
Urban Logic protects its ability to extract money from the City of Beaumont at all costs, resorting to intimidation and threats when necessary.
