After Voted Down in the Planning Commission the 2.89 Mega Warehouse will Appeal to Council on Tuesday, September 8, 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City of Beaumont City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider the matter described below. The City Council’s hearing on this matter will be held at
6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016
in the Council Chambers at Beaumont City Hall, 550 East Sixth Street, Beaumont, California.
The matter to be considered is described below:
Appeal of Planning Commission determination of Plot Plan Application 16-PP-02 Timoteo Industrial Park.
Consideration of an appeal of the Planning Commission determination for an entitlement action to facilitate the development of a 196.54 acre Industrial center with 2.89 million square feet floor area of distribution/warehouse uses.
The subject site is located along the future 4th Street, south of State Route 60, and east of Jack Rabbit Trail within the Hidden Canyon Industrial Specific Plan. (APN#421-020-001, -006)
An Environmental Impact Report (State Clearinghouse No. 94092040) was certified in 1996 for the Beaumont Gateway Specific Plan project, and subsequent addenda were certified for the project in 2012.
This documentation remains current and will be relied on in the proposed actions associated with this proposal, pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act.
The applicant for this project is Timoteo Land Development, LLC.
The case file, plans, and all supporting documentation for the project can be reviewed at the Beaumont Civic Center, 550 East Sixth Street, Beaumont, California.
On public hearings items the public may present testimony to the Planning Commission and City Council either in person or by mail.
Written comments will be accepted until the night of the hearing.
