Beaumont City Council retains Avery Associates to recruit for City Manager. Community Input Forum March 8th.
The Beaumont City Council retained Avery Associates, a professional recruiting firm located in Los Gatos, CA, to recruit for a new City Manager. Avery Associates has extensive experience in City Manager recruitments including recently recruiting for the cities of Alameda, Hemet, Carlsbad, and Grover Beach, to name a few. The fee for this recruitment will be $18,900, with a not-to-exceed amount of $7,000 for out-of-pocket expenses associated with the search.
On March 8, 2016. at 7:00pm, Avery Associates will hold a community meeting at the Beaumont Civic Center to solicit views from community members on the ideal qualifications and attributes for the City Manager candidate.
The goals for this community meeting include:
- Understanding the City and community priorities for the position;
- Developing a clear understanding and consensus on the expertise, experience, education, performance attributes, and operational style of the ideal candidate;
- Discuss goals, objectives, deliverables, and challenges related to the position;
- Gain insight of the various dynamics and issues that exist within the community;
- Identify the compelling aspects to this opportunity.
Community members and key stakeholders are encouraged to attned this informal forum and give their input on the ideal Beaumont Chity Manager candidate.
