On Tuesday, June 18th, the Beaumont City Council will be voting on two big tax increases:
- The first is a Special Tax that will increase Mello Roos fees charged to homeowners.
- The second is an annual Sewer Standby Charge.
In addition, the Council will be voting on resolutions which would give it the authority to place a lien on someone’s property for being late paying bills owed to the City.
Please attend the meeting tomorrow night and express your opposition to these hefty new taxes!
