Notice is hereby given that the Beaumont City Council is seeking to fill numerous vacancies on the Planning Commission, Finance & Audit Committee and Economic Development Committee as well as the vacant City Treasurer position.

Planning Commission: Seeking applications to fill three (3) vacancies; two (2) seats are full term seats ending December 2022 and one (1) seat is a partial term vacancy expiring December 2020. This position receives a salary compensation of $50.00 per month

Finance & Audit Committee: Seeking applications to fill four (4) vacancies for a term of two (2) years consisting of the following positions:

Resident Member – 3 seats available
Alternate Member – 1 seat available

Economic Development Committee: Seeking applications to fill eight (8) vacancies for a term of two (2) years consisting of the following positions:

Beaumont Business Community Member – 3 seats available
BUSD/Secondary Education Representative – 1 seat available
Community Member/Non Business Member – 2 seats available
Local Developer/Economic Development Representative – 1 seat available
BUSD High School Student – 1 seat available

City Treasurer: Seeking applications to fill one (1) vacancy for the City of Beaumont Treasurer. This is a four year term with a term ending December 2022. California Government Code requires that an applicant must be a registered voter, a United States Citizen 18 years of age or older and a resident of the City of Beaumont. This position receives a salary compensation of $140.00 per month.

The Beaumont City Council will conduct it’s first review of applicants at the regularly scheduled meeting of Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Completed applications received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 will be considered. Urban Logic protects its ability to extract money from the City of Beaumont at all costs, resorting to intimidation and threats when necessary.
