DESCRIPTION OF COMMITMENT:

3. Desalter(s) and Brine Disposal Facilities
a. Submit plan and schedule for the
construction of desalter(s) and brine
disposal facilities. Facilities are to be
operational as soon as possible but no
later than 7 years from the date of
Regional Board approval of
plan/schedule.
b. Implement the plan and schedule.

COMPLIANCE DATE – ASAP BUT NO LATER THAN:

a. Within 6 months of either of the
following:
i. When Beaumont’s effluent 5-yr
running average TDS exceeds 480
mg/L; and/or
ii. When the volume-weighted average
TDS concentration in the BMZ
exceeds 320 mg/L
b. Within 30 days from date of Regional
Board approval of plan

DESCRIPTION OF COMMITMENT:

4. Non-potable Water Supply: Implement
non-potable water supply system to serve
water for irrigation purposes. The nonpotable
supply shall comply with a 10-year
running average TDS concentration of 330
mg/L or less.
