Together Todd Parton & Kristine Day Acquired $107 Million in Bond Debt for Kerrville Texas Leaving the Citizens with an $8 Million/Year Debt

In October, 2016, ‘Council Approved’ the hiring of Todd Parton from Kerrville, Texas. Parton was not qualified to be a city manager in the State of California because he proudly knew nothing about California State Laws.

A year later Parton declares that he needs an Assistant City Manager. Parton doesn’t need Accountants or Firemen or a Planning Director and City Attorney that upholds State and Federal Laws; he just needs an Assistant Manager.

Kristine Day was presented to Council at the January 2, 2018 City Council Meeting. Parton proclaimed that after a ‘nation-wide search’ a ‘blue ribbon committee’ choose – not Parton, the blue ribbon committee’ – his assistant City Manager from Kerrville, Texas. Imagine that.

Parton summed up Kristine Day’s qualifications: “The successes achieved by Ms. Day include hundred of millions of dollars in Capital Projects.”

Todd Parton worked in Kerrville seven years, from April 15, 2009 to October, 2016. Mrs. Day started two years previously.

In the seven years that Todd Parton was City Manager of Kerrville, Texas; $107,241,000 in Bond Debt was acquired. The Annual Bond Debt for a town with a population of less than 24,000 people is now over $8 Million/year.

Kristine Day resigned from the position as Kerrville Deputy City Manager on June 10, 2016. Parton resigned from the position of City Manager in October, 2016.

Kristine Day has a B.S. in Recreation, Parks, and tourism Sciences from Texas A and M University.

Ms. Day, like Todd Parton, does not have any qualifications to operate a government agency or any experience in paying off the bond debt they acquire.
