Jaime Hurtado who is seeking to replace Riverside County Supervisor Marion Ashley chair received donations from Albert A. Webb Associates (WEBB). WEBB became Beaumont’s City engineering and consulting firm after the previous firm (Urban Logic) was accused of embezzling $42 Million of TUMF (a transportation project ponzi scheme) fees.
Jaime Hurtado is currently Riverside County Supervisor Marion Ashley Cheif of Staff. During the raids and scandals in Beaumont Ashley and Hurtado were MIA. Leaving the community of Beaumont hanging on a political lynch.
Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin also received money from WEBB. Hestrin is the DA who charged Urban Logic for embezzling, opening the way for WEBB to collect more than $2 million in consultants fees.
Ashley who advised and appproved of Beaumont council members DeForge, Fox and Berg of building $42 million in transportation projects rather than sending money directly to TUMF (WRCOG). Western Riverside County of Governments (WRCOG) praised Beaumont for the projects completed. When Beaumont decided to leave WRCOG (a voluntary progam), WRCOG then sued Beaumont saying that $42 million in “fees” was embezzled. Ashley and Hurtado has yet to come forward in admitting Ashley approved of the money going directly to the projects. Ashley and Hurtado exemplified they are in it for their own gain, supporting corruption by exploiting the citizens.
