Beaumont to Award $537,353 Contract to Moffatt and Nichol

Moffat and NIchol are already working on the Potrero Interchange according to Hope Smythe from Santa Ana Regional Water Board

On December 19, 201 Beaumont City Council Agenda Item 18. $537,353 Contract to Moffatt and Nichol for ‘Environmental Documentation Services and Property Specialist’ for the Pennsylvania Project: https://beaumont.civicweb.net/document/10611/Item%2018.pdf?handle=9FD92D121ABB43D68CEB91AA779E5D3D

On November 27, 2017, Hope Smythe, Director of the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board issued a letter to the City of Beaumont regarding the Potrero Interchange Project: https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/santaana/water_issues/programs/401_certification/docs/wqc/2017/332012-17_SR60_Potrero_Rd_Interchange.pdf

At the bottom of the letter Ms. Smythe copied two Representatives for the City of Beaumont:

Jimmy Sims from Mark Thomas & Company that went to college with Ernie Egger.

The other Representative of Beaumont for the Potrero Interchange Project is Moffat and NIchol.

I don’t know when Moffat and Nichol appeared on the scene; there’s no Contract on the City of Beaumont’s Website. But considering Beaumont’s long and consistent history of crooks funneling money out of the City; it’s probably not a good idea to give a shell corporation another contract when they’re already involved in one of Beaumont’s dirty project.

And $1/2 Million Contract for a what?

‘Environmental Documentation Services and Property Specialist’

Words. Made up words to steal taxpayer money.
