CLOSED SESSION:

Inspectors put building over his Septic tank, which destroyed his building.

Geico/ Marcella Nelson: Deny Claim Unanimous Council Vote

PUBLIC COMMENT:

Judy Bingham: Goodbye Brenda Knight and Dirty Della Condon

Nate Guerriero: Mad as hell and not taking it any more.

Andrew Garner: Wants City to put in ‘Splash Pad’ because of the overabundance of water and money in Beaumont.

Ron Roy: Did Bond for Area 19A go through and where’s his discount as promised.

Answer: Yes the bond went through, but is now frozen by the SEC.

RESPONSE TO PUBLIC COMMENT

White: “If we filed claims against the lawyers and consultants that stole our money will have to pay for lawyers right darling?

Pinkney: “Yes honeybuns, if you file claims to recoup the $400 Million that was stolen it will cost legal fees and ‘waste’ the taxpayers’ money.”

White: “Thank you snookums. And who initiated the Tolling Agreements?”

Pinkney: “The City did, but these legal fees will not result in any financial gain, so it’s ‘smart’.”

Mayor Mike Lara, who is also the Director of Riverside County Building and Safety which oversees CEQA compliance asks Rebecca Deming specific questions to circumvent CEQA EIR Requirements for Heartland Area 5.

Heartland Approved by Unanimous Vote

Brenda Knight asks Amer Jakher to speak about the status of the City’s recycled water facility.

Lloyd White stops the conversation as being ‘off topic’.

Item 13 – Emergency Sewer Line Repair at Highland Springs and Potrero Avenue

Copper Pipes improperly installed with steel which caused corrosion and sewer backup. Installed by ‘Developers’, but 10 year window has passed, so burden to repair piled on the Citizens.

Item 20: Herbert Kruppa billed for City Staff and Attorney Fees for property he leased.

Pinkney: “We have a City Ordinance that says we can charge the Property Owner, so it’s okay.”

Chief of Police Thuilliez: “Line of customers” translation: ‘We saw a small business in Beaumont making money, so we shut them down.’

Orozco: “We have to hold small business property owners accountable”

But Developers that are doing construction of thousands of houses can not be held accountable for anything.

“Over six months to get business license.” “We have to use your contractors.” “The town made it too hard to open a business and all that’s illegal.” “Costs to appease City were over $10,000.”

“Meth shops are open, but within hours of a marijuana store opening it is shut down.”

“If you want to get yourself straight you’ve got to start acting like you care about people, you have to start acting like you give a damn about your town.”

Rebecca Deming: “… My understanding is that we didn’t get..”

The Planning Department consists of Deming and Kyle. There’s no other people to blame it on.

Orozco: “I want to make sure that ‘healthy fees’ are charged to cover costs.”

And really Dirty Della? You really want to bring up the topic of corrupt police and tow truck companies?

Lloyd White made sure that one of the Code Enforcement Violations wasn’t on one of his Developer Buddies.

Mike Lara: “Citizen Patrol”

Really? Mayor Mike Lara witnessed the Citizen Patrol?

Because I have a Public Records Request Response that says there is no Citizen Patrol.

Lloyd White: “Too bad gas prices when down.”

Pinkney: “Working on an expanded Marijuana Ban to counter Prop 64”
