Beaumont is Charging Mello Roos Taxes on the Same Lots that Pardee Homes is Suing the City for Not Getting Mello Roos Bonds.
In 2015 the Beaumont City Council ‘Approved’ Mello Roos Bond Debt for Pardee Homes Sundance Area 8E.
The City and Pardee Homes made an agreement that Pardee Homes would pay Mitigation Fees to the City and the City would reimburse Pardee Homes for all the Mitigation Fees by acquiring Mello Roos Bonds and throwing the Bond Payments unto the ‘future’ Property Owners.
‘Council Approved’ committing Felony Municipal Bond Fraud, but the State and Feds say ‘No Way Charlie Manson Family’.
Now Pardee Homes is suing the City of Beaumont because Pardee Homes paid Mitigation Fees, but the City can not acquire more Bond Debt to trade.
But just because the City can not uphold their end of the deal doesn’t mean that they won’t continue as if they had upheld their end of the deal.
The 2017 Tax Rolls submitted to the Riverside County Tax Assessor by the City of Beaumont show that Sundance Area 8E will be charged a total of $340,857.42 in Mello Roos Property Taxes.
Although there are houses on some of the property, the address is still listed on the Parcel. Most of the parcels are still vacant lots.
And what’s Pardee Homes going to do?
Complain to the State or County? Pardee Homes knows for a fact that they are building houses in violation to State Building Laws and let’s not forget that Pardee Homes stood before Council after the Raids and states how valuable Urban Logic was to them.
Complain to the Feds? Pardee Homes is just as guilty of conspiring with corrupt elected and appointed officials to commit federal municipal bond fraud as the elected and appointed officials.
Pardee Homes: Welcome to Beaumont, where they cheat everyone – even their own partners in crime.
