The Beaumont City Council announced that a Nation-wide search was conducted and 42 Applicants were Interviewed – some twice – before the Council choose someone that also believes in the philosophy of circumventing State and Federal Laws to acquire massive Bond Debt.
Here’s an Email that I received from Kerrville Attorney Richard Ellison:
“Parton is for anything the developers and builders want and in my opinion is a master at massaging budgets and statistics to make projects that the city doesn’t need look like responsible decisions. For example, the city is building a retention pond for effluent water at cost of $20mm that many think could be built for about $2.5MM. The sports complex is another boondoggle, the city was going to spend $9MM to buy land and build a sports complex with numbers that never made any sense.”
