Kyle
It looks OK but the council might want to know which contractors/consultants you have on board providing this information. Pl have that information handy.

Thanks. This is why I asked you to hold the job card for survey and flood levels. I have the FEMA map too.

We don’t need to determine EDU right now, just need to know how many connections they are proposing which probably shows up on the plans they submitted to public works. I assume it’s one point of connection.

The fee schedule has the cost of connecting and serving a hotel but this one is outside the city so we need to look at it closely once we get the deposit. Maybe Alan and the council want to add a condition like LAFCO is doing to SunnyCal.. pay the Beaumont BRB fee. 😉

Ok, that’s what I thought.

How do I determine the EDU for a 150 room hotel?

Is it $25 per Unit for the application fee?

Second: the sewer stub out is at the property line correct?

Just make it a $5,000 fee for the agreement and $25 for the sewer application. Remember, this thing is going to have to go to city council, Alan and David are going to have to work on the agreement. It’s more than fair considering Calimesa is going to get all the sales and property tax and they haven’t done a thing to help Beaumont, in fact they sue Beaumont. Let’s review the Calimesa agreement too to see where we stand and if we are still locked in. We probably are.

I was thinking of a $5000 deposit to start off everything.

We need to charge him at least $5,000 for the agreement to cover Wysoki’s and other city time. Let’s clear it with Alan. The Fee Schedule allows collection of fees for tasks not specifically identified based on hourly rates. I don’t think Golkar will balk on the fee because it is fair.

Dave,

The only fee in the fee schedule is 20k for a Development Agreement,
which seems pretty pricey.

I will send the sewer connection application and charge the $25 for the
application and state the connection fees and monthly rates will be set
forth in the Sewer Service Agreement.

Sound good?

Dear Kyle

Hope all is well. I was nice talking to you. I look forward to working
with you and other staff members on this project. I have attached the
draft agreement. I have left the fee section blank to be figured out. I
have also attached the draft will serve letter and the site plan. Please
send me the application and the fee amount. I will process those
immediately.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

David Golkar, PE.
