NOW ITS BEAUMACCOUNTING….
So who really paid for the items in the attached picture. According to the City brochure (http://www.ci.beaumont.ca.us/documentcenter/view/3251) the money for these Community Projects came from your Mello-Roos/CFD assessments.
BUT WAIT A MINUTE……
Now that the City thinks it has a green light to seek full reimbursement for the over $20 million in questionable loans from the City to its RDA ,(and at 12% interest) apparently the BeaumAccounting Dept now believes that virtually the exact same amount of money for the Facilities (see attached picture highlights) is a billable amount to the RDA??? Looks to me like…Oh I dont know ..Point at an improvement and say YOU paid for it..then go to the State and say the City paid for it…
REALLY A $500,000 BATHROOM….
All this and more interesting things by BeaumAccounting in (http://www.ci.beaumont.ca.us/DocumentCenter/View/18436) the City’s Amended EOPS to the State. (Or how and why and on what our $20 million + was spent on)
POST SCRIPT. My apologies as the picture difficult to see. What it shows is the City Brochure listing what CFD funds have paid for, then the virtually identical amounts from the same facilities being submitted for payment to the State and the City claims it, by way of loan, to RDA paid for it. The facilities and amounts noted in the picture and links are the Sports Park, Stewart Park, the Library and the Beaumont Womens Club.
