TFG Prepaid Credit Cards – Mostly to Police Department

The City of Beaumont has released the long sought Invoices from the TFG Prepaid Credit Card. Citizens have been outraged since the Prepaid Card first appeared on the Check Warrants in 2008. There were originally 25 Credit Cards issued mostly to the Officers in the Police Department.

Each card has a separate balance. The City was charged $5.00 if one of the cards were not used during a monthly billing cycle.

The cards were used up until April, 2015. Now Chief of Police Sean Thuilliez used his card on March 9th to purchase a toilet seat at Walmart. Thuilliez’s balance remaining on the card as of 03/31/15 was $927.19.

The cards were confiscated by the state controllers’ office
