2.2 ANNEXATION FEES

“The City of Beaumont is the Applicant for the proposed annexation.

3.2 FIRE PROTECTION

‘..the City of Beaumont will provide fire protection services through its contract with the Riverside County Fire Department.”

“The City has indicated that annexation of the Project is not expected to result in an increase in the budget. Rather, an increase in the budget would only occur at which time a new fire station is built and operational.”

3.3 LAW ENFORCEMENT

“The Project will annex into a City public safety CFD to mitigate the anticipated financial impact to the budget to provide Police services.

3.6 STREETS/COMMUNITY SERVICES

“Based on the City of Beaumont’s fiscal year ended June 30, 2017, the amount budgeted for street maintenance and other city facilities, including parks, storm drain, and street lights, is $3,675,413. Annexation of the Project is estimated to increase the budget by approximately $150,000 due to the addition of approximately 2.9 additional lane miles of roads (Cherry Valley Blvd, and Brookside Avenue), street lights, and storm drain facilities. “

3.9 STORMWATER DRAINAGE

“The City of Beaumont will be responsible for the local storm water drainage control.”

3.10 WASTEWATER COLLECTION AND TREATMENT

“The City of Beaumont will provide wastewater collection and treatment services for the Project.”

“Based on the relatively low wastewater generation of the propose land uses of the Project, annexation would result in a nominal increase in wastewater treatment demands, which have already been accounted for by the City of Beaumont in anticipation of annexation of the Project.”

“Based on the total future 8 MGD capacity of the wastewater treatment plant, the City of Beaumont will have sufficient wastewater capacity to serve the Project.”

3.11 WATER SERVICE
