Some of the Invoices have a title like ‘Aklufi Wysocki’, but no information at all and $13,800 is just listed as ‘Over-Retainer’. The October 3, 2017 Council Meeting lists four Lawsuits that aren’t listed on Pinkney’s Invoices.

The Resume is listed on the City of San Clemente’s website because the City of San Clemente followed California Public Contract Bid Contract which requires open public bids and all bids to be released to the Public.
TO THIS DAY the City of Beaumont has never followed State Laws in hiring a City Attorney nor has the Law Firm of Slovak Baron Empey Murphy Pinkney released a Resume or will state where else they are employed.
Pinkney’s Resume states that he received a Bachelors’ of Art Degree from Brigham Young University, but does not state the Study. Pinkney’s only experience as a City Attorney is for the City of Needles with a population less than 5,000 people.
Page 43 includes a Statement of Non-Collusion the Law Firm had to sign to ensure that “This proposal is genuine and not a sham or collusive..”
On Page 51 the Law Firm of Slovak Baron Empey Murphy Pinkney offered to provide City Attorney services to the City of San Clemente, a population of 65,000 a monthly Retainer of $8,000/month and hourly rates for work in excess of 45 hours week with the statement: “However, we do not anticipate exceeding the retainer each month.”
On Page 53 the Law Firm of Slovak Baron Empey Murphy Pinkney provides the City of San Clemente a sample of a Status Report. The detailed Status Report breaks down ever lawsuit and claim into seven (7) categories: Matter, Issue in Controversy, Amount in Controversy, Client Objective, Status, Fees & Cost to date, and Future Hearings.
On Page 54 the Law Firm of Slovak Baron Empey Murphy Pinkney provides a sample of their Itemized Billing Statements. Every minute of legal work is detailed, not ‘Attorney Client Privilege’ that neither the Public nor the Council is privy to as Pinkney has repeatedly told the Beaumont City Council.
In the last 2 years the Law Firm of Slovak Baron Empey Murphy Pinkney has embezzled $2 Million out of the City of Beaumont with Council’s Direction and Council’s Approval.
The Law Firm of Slovak Baron Empey Murphy Pinkney might have operated legally if not for the blind stupidity of the Beaumont City Council.
But Council directing and approving the illegal hiring of the Law Firm and the embezzling of money doesn’t make it legal. It’s going to be a bit difficult of a group of lawyers to claim they were ignorant of the law.
