HR Green Sends City of Beaumont a ‘Dear Jane’ Letter Declining the Position of Token City Engineer.

2015-08-12k

On June 2, 2015 the City Council of Beaumont Approved the hiring of HR Green to fill the State Requirement for a City Engineer. On June 10th HR Green Sent Kyle Warsinski the following email:

“Kyle, HR Green appreciates the opportunity to serve as interim City Engineer for the City of Beaumont however the restrictions the City Council placed on us to not do any other work for the City is not acceptable because it ties our hands to effectively preform our duties.

Accordingly we respectively decline to accept the interim City Engineer assignment.

Hr Green is every interested in serving the City under a more expanded roll and will respond to the RFP you are currently preparing. Looking forward to working together in the future.”

It was never disclosed to Council or the Public that HR Green refused the City Engineer’s job.

It is a big red flag that the City of Beaumont refuses to allow an honest Engineer in the Sewer Plant.

It is a big red flag that Beaumont’s acting City Attorney assisted in perpetuating the Fraud by advising Council to attempt to contract a City Engineer for only 8 hours/week in an attempt to satisfy State and Federal Laws while protecting/hiding the condition of the Sewer Plant.

And the ‘Finance Director’ from Muni-Temps?

He’s gone too.

Council has to accept the fact that they will never find anyone honest that’s willing to participate in the City’s corruption and hire honest Staff.
