With less than three months remaining in this fiscal year; the City of Beaumont has not released a proposed 2015/2016 Budget.
The City has a Budget Workshop scheduled for April 27th and five Council Meetings remaining to decide what will be funded.
The Councilmen must set and approve the 2015/2016 Budget by July 1, 2015. In the past the Councilmen disregarded necessities and ‘decided’ on luxuries, but it appears the three new Councilmen expect to actually set a Budget.
